Plushland has created adorable STS Mission Astronaut bears to accompany numerous of the past Space Shuttle launches. We just came across mention and photos of our STS 135 Space Shuttle Bear in the hands of some very special children.

In an article titled "On the Homefront" from chron.com, following the crew of the final space shuttle flight, our bears are shown in the homes of the families of the space shuttle astronauts, keeping their children company while the shuttle crew is away on the final space shuttle mission.

The Office Sock Monkey decided to call a meeting to discuss the Plushland Fall / Winter 2011 collection. The Collegiate Sock Monkeys obviously want to add more universities to the collection. That seems to be all they ask for. They always want more friends.

We think our outdoor BBQ caused a few car accidents. (There was a lot of smoke).

Join Plushland and Autism Speaks as we walk to change the future for all who struggle with autism!

The 2011 Los Angeles Walk Now for Autism Speaks will be taking place on Saturday April 23, 2011 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena California. Walkers will be raising money as they complete one of two walking routes. The first is a full 3 miles and the second is making laps around the stadium.

Plushland will be there to present 250 bears to the top fundraisers on the main stage, and to cool kids throughout the event.

Join Actors and Others for Animals Saluting Betty White on Saturday, April 9, 2011 in their annual celebration at the Universal Hilton and Towers Ballroom.

Plushland will be in attendance, and to show our support, we have donated 800 plush animals, including our Floppy Dogs, Weiner Dogs, Supersoft Kittens, and Baby Bulldogs that will be given out to guests.

The event will be attended by Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ken Howard, Susan Lucci, Fred Willard, Georgia Engel and Peter Marshall and more!

Actors and Others for Animals is a non-profit organization that's objectives are to provide proper care for and prevent inhumane treatment and destruction of animals.
