I have really enjoyed having the Plushland toys.  Here are some of the ways I have used them.

• At Christmas time, our chapter did volunteer gift wrapping for donations at our local shopping mall.  We also offered our Plushland toys for a donation.  The mall sells gift cards so I ordered some of the Christmas gift card animals and promoted them to shoppers who were giving gift cards from the mall or mall businesses.  They were a hit.
• I am unable to pay my volunteers so I have given them Plushland Safe Kids animals as a thank you gift.
• I also was pleased to give a Plushland animals to a little 4-year-old girl who had been attacked and bitten on the face by a dog.  She held it close as her aunt cuddled her.
• Recently I gave a Safe Kids bear and new carseat to a little child who had survived a terrible motor vehicle crash on I-80.  Two of his older siblings were killed.  His smile and laughter when he received the bear made my day.

I am sure that I will have more stories as the toys have become a very special tool for sharing about Safe Kids and saying thanks to our Safe Kids friends.
