THANK YOU PLUSHLAND,

We have been ordering bears from Plushland for the past two years.  We call the bears “JER-BEARS” in memory of our son Jeremy who past away in March 2004 of Cystic Fibrosis.   All proceeds raised in the sale of the “JER-BEARS” goes directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, with hopes that some day a cure will be found for this horrible disease.   We design our own custom tags and tee shirts each year.  This way we can personalize the bears so everyone knows what the bears stand for.

Each year we tie about 100 or so balloons to one bear and let it go.  Last years bear (2nd Annual JER-BEAR) was released on July 31, 2005 (Jeremy’s Birthday) from Look Park in Northampton, MASS. and was found this May up in the Mountains in the state of Vermont by a hiker.  We had enclosed a note explaining why we were doing this along with our phone number.  And the hiker called us to let us know that the Plushland Bear had survived snow, rain and wind up on the Mountain and the bear was still in great shape.  This is the most wonderful feeling to know that the bears are out there.  Thank you again Plushland,  keep up the good work.
